Homeschool Enrichment at FUNdamental Minds-
Discover a Tailored Approach to Education
Our Homeschool Enrichment Program offers three enrollment options for families who have a desire to leave their traditional school institutions. Families can choose to enroll in our in-person Homeschool Enrichment Academy, our Virtual Academy, or our Hybrid Academy.
Our curriculum is aligned with educational standards, giving parents confidence that we are delivering content suitable for each grade level. Our high school courses are accredited, and students will receive a standard diploma once they successfully meet graduation requirements.
Our homeschool programs offer personalized curricula tailored to meet the unique needs of every student. We understand that education should not be a one-size-fits-all approach, and we believe in giving students the chance to learn at their own pace.
Every student will take a diagnostic assessment in Reading, Math, and Language Arts to inform instructional strategies and tailor academic materials to skill levels. This approach provides students who are below grade level with a chance to address learning gaps, while also enabling students above grade level to advance further.
We partner with Edmentum to provide the diagnostic assessments, virtual curriculum/instruction, and accreditation for our courses. For more information about Edmentum, please visit their website here.

In-Person Homeschool
Enrichment Academy
Available for K-8 students at our Brandon or Zephyrhills centers
Our in-person Homeschool Enrichment Academy runs Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 3 pm, providing homeschool students with a traditional classroom setting. This program includes weekly elective classes, field trips, and three days dedicated to academics, ensuring a well-rounded educational and social experience.
We aim to unlock each student’s full potential and boost their academic confidence. To achieve this, students will undergo a diagnostic assessment in Reading, Language Arts, and Math, enabling our certified teachers to tailor a customized curriculum for each subject based on their results. Science and Social Studies are integrated into weekly electives and project-based learning activities.
With a teacher-student ratio of 1:12, our program offers a unique advantage over private and public school options. We provide optional Morning/Afternoon Enrichment services from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm along with holiday camps included in the tuition, making our program an excellent choice for working families seeking a homeschool solution.

Hybrid Homeschool Enrichment Academy
Available for K-8 students at our Brandon or Zephyrhills centers

Engaging Virtual Curriculum
Our Hybrid Academy includes full-access to our virtual program. Students will have access to live classes, on-demand tutoring support, and electives during their at-home learning days. Parents can easily follow the weekly schedule prepared for them to help their child stay on track.

In-Person Tutoring
Students enrolled in our Hybrid program have the ability to add 1 or 2 days of in-person tutoring support at our Brandon or Zephyrhills centers from 11am-2pm on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Teachers will review their online activities and prepare additional practice materials to ensure content mastery.

Step Up for Students
Tuition for each of our homeschool programs can be paid using scholarship funds from Step Up for Students (SUFS). We accept the Unique Abilities (FES-UA) and Personalized Education Program (FTC-PEP) scholarships and provide a direct-pay option for our families. We only require out of pocket payment if your child does not have a SUFS scholarship, or sufficient scholarship funds are not available to cover the full cost of tuition when it is due.
We do not accept the FTC-EO scholarship as we are not a private school.
Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now open through April 30th. All families are encouraged to apply!
